Pullman Bunker Bay Resort Margaret River

Wonderful location - a little isolated but only a short drive to Dunsborough. Walk down to Bunker Bay beach which is very family friendly and well sheltered. Plenty of wineries and breweries nearby to get you out and about. Breakfast was very nice with a wide selection in the buffet and omelettes available on request. Over the Moon restaurant was excellent - dined there all 3 nights and was happy each time. Staff all very friendly and willing to help with any needs.

Beautiful setting. Beach was amazing and our room was very clean and comfortable. Close to wineries and lots of amazing restaurants.

- Pool was amazing and peaceful with a poolside bar. Fish tacos and pina coladas were yum. - Beach is a 5/10 minute walk from the resort - One of the best resort breakfasts I’ve had. There are a lot of options and the chef can make you eggs any way you like. The juice maker is amazing. - The resort is very peaceful and beautiful - Staff are great and take the time to make you feel comfortable - Tennis court is great and the resort provides racquets and tennis balls

We loved how spacious our King Bed Studio Villa was. The bathroom was very large and luxurious with soft towels and quality toiletries provided. The grounds and gardens were beautiful with the reception area made from crafted stone walls and recycled timbers, and native Australian plants growing everywhere around the resort. The beach was just a short walk from our villa. We enjoyed the buffet breakfast, with a large variety of hot and cold foods available. Overall, a very peaceful and relaxing stay.

Our stay at Pullman Bunker Bay exceeded our expectations - the two bedroom units were much nicer than then seem in the photos, with well designed bedrooms with very comfortable beds and linen, two ensuite bathrooms and very spacious dining and lounge area. The service was great, from the helpful reception staff and welcome glass of sparkling wine on arrival to the friendly breakfast and room service staff, who could not have been more helpful. Everything was of a higher standard than we'd expected, which is good as the resort is fairly pricey. The breakfast in particular was excellent - the fresh juice machine was fantastic and I've never seen that at any other hotel. We made daily use of that! The kids loved the pool and we had an amazing evening star-gazing on the beach as there was no ambient light. The location was handy for the Eagle Bay Brewing co which is just up the road, and excursions within the region. We didn't get to dine at the nearby beach restaurant which was recommended to us as it was the Easter weekend and heavily booked, but apparently it's worth trying if staying here (it's not affiliated with the resort). All in all we felt we got the standard we had paid for whereas before getting there we had worried it seemed a bit overpriced for what it was. Now we've stayed I can confirm that it's a premium resort and worth the money, so we only wish we could have afforded to stay longer!
